Our Story
Meet the Founder & Teacher
Hi! I’m Michelle Rinck, founder and teacher at Bright Path Literacy Academy.
Bright Path is a dream I have carried in my heart for a long time, and bringing it to life here in Manchester, Tennessee means more to me than I can put into words. I loved my years working in public education and am incredibly grateful for the students, families, and experiences that shaped me as a teacher. Over time, though, I began dreaming about a different kind of learning environment—one where I could teach in a smaller setting, build deeper relationships with families, and partner alongside homeschool parents as they guide their children’s education.
So much time, thought, work, and love has gone into creating Bright Path. My hope is to provide a place where children feel known, encouraged, supported, and truly cared for. I want students to know that they are loved, that their ideas matter, and that learning does not have to look exactly the same for every child. Small-group instruction gives me the opportunity to meet students where they are, provide support when they need it, challenge them when they are ready, and give them time to grow with confidence.
I also want children to have the freedom to explore, create, ask questions, investigate, make connections, and discover what they are capable of. Strong academics are important to me, but so are curiosity, creativity, relationships, and the excitement a child feels when something finally clicks.
Most of all, I want to teach with passion and heart. I am incredibly excited to welcome Bright Path families into this new chapter, to build meaningful relationships with our students and parents, and to provide another educational option for families in our community. It is an honor to be trusted with a child’s learning, and I hope every student who walks through our doors feels just how happy we are to have them here.
My Experience
I have been teaching locally for over 13 years, and throughout that time, I developed a deep passion for literacy and helping students become successful readers. My experience includes:
Reading intervention
Dyslexia intervention
Early literacy instruction
Structured literacy using the Orton-Gillingham approach.
I am a highly qualified, K–8 Certified Teacher
and experienced in Structured Literacy Intervention.
Working with students who struggle with reading has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career.
I have seen firsthand how the right instruction can completely transform a child’s confidence and ability.

At Bright Path Literacy Academy, our mission is to create a warm, supportive learning environment where children are inspired to explore, create, learn, and grow.
Through small-group instruction, strong academic foundations, hands-on experiences, and meaningful opportunities to discover and collaborate, we encourage children to build confidence, think critically, ask questions, and develop a genuine curiosity about the world around them.
We believe learning should be engaging, purposeful, and filled with opportunities for children to experience the excitement of discovering something new. By partnering with homeschool families, we strive to provide the support, instruction, and encouragement children need as they grow as learners.
A Place to Learn, Grow & Belong
Bright Path is more than a place to complete lessons. It is a learning community where children are encouraged to try new things, build friendships, discover their strengths, and grow in confidence.
We want every child who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, supported, known and excited to learn.
